• You can use Garmin - Dash Cam™ 55 as a standalone device and it will not pair with Garmin DriveAssist 50 GPS.

• Yes, you can use the dash cam 55, it is a standalone device and does not pair with the GPS. The BC 40 Wireless Backup Camera is not compatible with the Garmin DriveAssist 50.
