QuestionWill this unit work with NO smart phone? I don't have a Smart phone in my vehicle. How does it work then? I have a cigarette lighter which I don't use but it has a USB adapter. Is there a monthly fee? I am older, tech challenged and direction challenged

- Answer Yes, the unit works without a smart phone. It plugs up to the cigarette lighter in the vehicle. There is no monthly fee. You can plug it up to your computer to do updates. My husband wanted this gps to show speed limits while driving. It will beep when you exceed speed limit.

- Answer The Garmin Drive 52 is for regular vehicles, it does not provide commercial trucking routes. I recommend looking at our dezl OTR series for your trucking needs.
