QuestionIs this for large trucks and bus routes ?

- Answer No. This unit is for automobiles. It plots routes and shows your position only. Garmin does have other units that will meet the requirements of large trucks and buses, however. Go to Garmin’s website and look under automotive. Then choose trucks. You will find several units that will plot the optimal route using the height and weight of your vehicle. There is one that will update in real time so that you know about slow traffic ahead on your route. These units will be more suitable to your requirements.

Please consider one of Garmin's devices from the dēzl™ OTR series which features custom routing based on the size and weight of your rig, strategic suggestions for fueling and breaks, and leading-edge arrival planning.

Please consider on Garmin's devices from the RV series which features custom routing for the size and weight of your rig plus vivid aerial views to help you with a smooth arrival at your RV park or campground. A similar RV model to the Garmin DriveSmart™ 86 would be the RV 895.

- Answer A: I did not try to download any others maps but only those which are available through the device. All my maps there are up to date. For me this is enough. They work perfectly, and I'm quite satisfied with them. Thank you, Vlad

- Answer Garmin is aware that the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDot) is converting all exit numbers on freeways to a milepost-based numbering system, per Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) requirement. We are working with our map provider to update this information as they receive it from the state of Massachusetts and will incorporate the data into future Map Updates. Always defer to posted road signs on Massachusetts highways when using a Garmin motor vehicle navigation aid. Note: City Navigator North America map version 2023.10 (for Personal Navigation Device's only) added the majority of the updated exit numbers. Future map updates (for both PND's and In-Dash products) will continue to add updated exit numbers as they are made available.
