A:AnswerThank you for your question. Map updates are typically released 3 to 4 times a year, while software updates can vary depending on the models age and specifications.
A:AnswerA: I did not try to download any others maps but only those which are available through the device. All my maps there are up to date. For me this is enough. They work perfectly, and I'm quite satisfied with them.
Thank you,
Vlad
A:AnswerGarmin is aware that the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDot) is converting all exit numbers on freeways to a milepost-based numbering system, per Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) requirement. We are working with our map provider to update this information as they receive it from the state of Massachusetts and will incorporate the data into future Map Updates. Always defer to posted road signs on Massachusetts highways when using a Garmin motor vehicle navigation aid.
Note: City Navigator North America map version 2023.10 (for Personal Navigation Device's only) added the majority of the updated exit numbers. Future map updates (for both PND's and In-Dash products) will continue to add updated exit numbers as they are made available.
