A:Answer Yes, as long as you have downloaded all your maps ahead of time..It shouldn’t prove too much of a problem but my experience was tha Roman streets are quite complicated , with detours, and difficult to map accurately. It sounds easy in concept, but be ready for surprises & detours (the delightful part of any exploration!! ). It would be far better if your device had WiFi so you could re-check downloads at any WiFi enabled hotel. Plus, you could plan new routes based on the new information you received from locals.
Asking people on,the street can be ypur best source of information!! Even with the language barrier, perhaps you could get some good advice!
