• It is not a touch screen, same as the non-plus.

• Buttons. No screen function. Once you get the feel for the buttons, they work quite well. The watch is very complicated with lots of sub-menus under each button, etc. Has taken me much longer to learn how to fully use this watch than various Polar watches. That said, it is worth every cent. Compared with Polar alternatives this watch is fabulous.
