• A:Answer The Forerunner 15 does not measure or record the number of pedal strokes. It is able to track distance based on GPS or a foot pod. While no Garmin device currently records pedal strokes, some are compatible with a cadence sensor which measures number of pedal strokes per minute. Please see the Garmin website to verify compatibility. ^DK

Q: QuestionWill this calculate steps taken WITHOUT using the chest strap?I had a Polar FT4, and for the thing to function, you HAD to wear the chest strap. Can you use this without the chest strap during running/walking?

• A:Answer We don't have wrist size ranges for either watch, but the smaller watch has a total length of 2.05" and the larger has a total length of 2.25". This, of course, includes the buckle. The watch bands have notches running almost the entire length of the band, so they fit virtually ANY wrist size. One important note: the larger version has a wider band and a larger watch face. Although the larger watch fits on my narrow wrist, it looks a bit unwieldy. The small still fits me just fine, but the narrower band and smaller face look more appropriate for my wrist. -JPK
