A:AnswerNo, it does not. What you are seeing is a photo error. The bundle does come with a heart monitor, that works very well, haven't had a problem. The one pictured is a Garmin HRM-RUN, that has an accelerometer that mesures torso movement to calculate 3 running metrics: Candence, Vertical Oscillation and Ground Contact Time. The Forerunner 230 is not capable of reading the HRM-RUN. But like I said before the forerunner 350 bundle does come with a heart monitor but it only mesures that the heart beats. The watch has an accelerometer that mesures cande ce and altitude along with steps if worn as an activity tracker too. The HRM--RUN heart monitor is only compatible with Forerunner 920XT. Somebody needs to update the photo on the Bestbuy site. Am including a photo.
A:AnswerYes, you can, I have done that, took it to a depth of 7 feet ( careful is not a diving watch) I been caught in the rain while jogging and I even sometimes shower with it. If you do take it for a swim or shower it is recommended to rinse the chorine water or soap off of it to ensure that charging connector would keep working properly, I rinse and dry mine after every run and always make sure is dry before even attempt to charge or connect to PC.
A:AnswerThe Garmin HRM or the one that might have come with your Garmin Forerunner 220, if you got the bundled version, will work with the Garmin Forerunner 230. {CW}
