You can track your shoe gear on the Garmin Connect App. It will only track for activities and not everyday walking. You can set the limit on how long you want to use the shoe for (i.e. 400 miles). It's difficult to calculate for more than one pair in the same activity (i.e. running), but can for other activities (hiking, swimming) as long as mark the activity itself as such.
