A:Answer The watch does not hold any music on its own. If you want to listen to music while running, you will need to bring your phone. However it does offer very detailed alerts. For example, I set up a workout with 1.5mi warmup, 800m at a specific pace followed by 2 minutes of recovery (repeat 5 times), then 1.5 mile cooldown. The watch accurately tracked my run and alerted me with vibration and sound at the end of each portion of the workout. For more detailed workouts (for example mixing miles and meters), you have to set them up on the Garmin website, then send them to your watch.
