A:AnswerIt does not have built in maps like the Fenix series. You can load routes you create on the free app. Primarily intended for hiking, biking etc.
A:AnswerYes. The built in GPS will save your run and will sync with your phone once they pair again. I would like to also mention that I had an instance that GPS took a while to acquire satellite signal and the distance I ran signal-less did not count even though the time running did. The next day I found that GPS signal locked much faster when my phone was next to me but I cannot confirm that is why it did. Hope that helps.

A:AnswerCan only answer the HR. It seems to be accurate for running and walking but lags a bit behind my chest HR strap (I have a chest monitor paired with a cycling computer that is more accurate and doesn't lag as much). I think i have the hr set to provide an average over time (not sure what the time is) as it doesn't change as fast as other monitors do.
