“How well do these cameras work for side impact auto accidents? If they don't record side impacts, is my only option to utilize 4 cameras installed facing each of the 4 directions?”

• These cameras are designed to record front motion only. I don't know if any dash cams that provide 360° coverage. If that's what you want, you will need four cameras.

• The Dash Cam Mini has a 140° diagonal viewing angle, so it may not record incidents that happen on the side of the vehicle.
