Yes once the battery is drained. But you should be able to charge it. The battery lasts as advertised.

Please try again later.I truly don't think it would stop working with the smartwatch because it is so well encased and water resistant meaning I wore mine in the shower and it was very durable and strong they claim you can swim with it on and so forth. It has no metal that touches your skin so maybe the conductivity of a regular watch against your skin somehow affected the watch turning off on you I don't know. But I highly doubt it in the bottom line is if it does that you can always return it you have quite a while to return it.
