A:AnswerThe wrist band comes in Large and is huge. I by no means have a small wrist either. I wear the xl band in Fitbit, the Garmins band is way bigger.
A:AnswerWe don't have a published number since the file size for an activity can vary (due to sensors used, length of activity, etc). However, the file for a recorded run is usually under a megabyte, so the vivoactive HR can easily hold dozens of runs.
A:AnswerNo, the vivoactive HR does not have an open-water swim activity profile (although it does have a pool swim profile). If you are looking for a device that does track open-water swimming, I would recommend looking at the Forerunner 735XT or the fēnix 3. -OA
A:AnswerNo idea why they want me to answer this but they emailed me asking for me to help and I am here. Hopefully this 2.4 year old dilemma has been resolved. I’m guessing it was product availability but who knows. Slows gnomes at Garmin assembling in the dead of night?
A:AnswerI would recommend the regular size. Although you could wear either size, you will be close to the minimum for the XL, and thus have a lot of extra band. You can see our full sizing chart at the following link: http://bit.ly/GRMNSizes -OA
A:AnswerThe vivoactive HR has the ability to capture and store heart rate data. This information can then be transferred to Garmin Connect and Strava, but the information will not be displayed in the apps in real time. The data can be transferred wirelessly through Bluetooth after the activity is complete.
