I've had mine about a month and it does track sleep such as deep and light and how much movement you had during the night. If you don't sync it EVERY day, you will lose the previous night's data, though. And although it has you put down your "normal" sleep times, it will usually catch if you go to bed early/late or get up early/late.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The vivofit 3 does have the ability to track the amount of movement done while sleeping. This information will be displayed in Garmin Connect to show the amount of movement as well as light and deep sleep.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not as well as a device with a heart rate monitor. Jawbone Up4 is much better. Fitbit Charge HR was better but caused my hand and forearm to severely swell after intermittent use during three days. Swelling so bad I could not move my arm for about a week. Regardless, Garmin Vivofit 3 is a great tracking device.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not found it to be as accurate as Jawbone Up4 or Fitbit Charge HR for sleep tracking. However, due to severe nickel allergies, Fitbit Charge HR caused my hand to swell very badly over three days of intermittent use. I could not love my arm for nearly a week. Jawbone Up4 has been much better. I compare it to Garmin Vivofit 3, but Vivofit 3 logs sleeping when I am not asleep. Additionally, without a heart rate monitor, the results rely on the accelerometer, which does not give a complete snapshot of sleep.
