• Yes, you actually have to activate the running timer on it. Hold down your finger on the band until the menu comes up. Hit the running guy, and then hit the play button. When you stop exercising then hit the button again. It will calculate based on your time

• Yes. I'm pretty sure it will keep up with that activity and calorie "burn". There is a cycling setting either in the app or on the Garmin PC dashboard.

• I'm not sure. I use an elliptical trainer at home and it counts the steps but less accurately than when I walk normally so I'm not sure it could accurately sense movement on a stationary bike but then I'm not sure any activity tracker could and I do recommend the Vivosmart.

• No. The band uses a gyro to count steps/movement. However, you can specify on the app they use that you did stationary bike for a certain time and how fast you are going to calculate calories. Sort of like the fitnesspal.
