I currently have a VivoFit 2 and it doesn't track all of my activities. I do CrossFit ALOT!!!! Does the Vivosmart HR track activities like weightlifting, etc? null

Yes the Vivosmart HR will track weightlifting. I too weight lift and had my strap break! Garmin doesn't sell or replace broken straps. 
 
I DO NOT recommend purchasing the Garmin watches. I would explore other options for a lifting activity tracker.

Do not by the Vivofit HR for CrossFit. It will never be as accurate as a chest strap monitor. When you are moving your arms, it will keeping reading inaccurate heart rate numbers that will be lower than your actual numbers.

It will track your heart rate while weightlifting.
