I wouldn't count on it. Garmin has already put forth the VivoSmart HR+, so it seems they're continuing to make successors to this device.

It's possible other reviewers weren't aware, but this option has always been available. This means you can choose to only receive texts and phone call notifications and not receive other notifications you might get on your phone, such as emails. If you are using an iOS device, use the notification center settings on your smartphone to select the items to show on the device. If you are using an Android device, use the app settings in the Garmin Connect™ Mobile app to select the items to show on the device. Thank you. *CG
