Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I HAVE AN IRREGULAR HEART RATE TOO. IT DOES NOT TAKE YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE. IT HAS SO FAR GIVEN ME ACCURATE HEART RATE READINGS. I LOVE THIS BECAUSE IT HELPS ME REGULATE MY MEDICINE FOR HEART RATE CONTROL. ALONG WITH THIS GARMIN, I HAVE A SEPARATE BLOOD PRESSURE MONITOR AND A KARDIA MOBILE DEVICE TO RECORD MY HEART RATE DAILY. THE GARMIN ALSO RECORDS YOUR STEPS AND SLEEP, WHICH BOTH HELPS WHEN TRYING TO HELP PEOPLE MANAGE IRREGULAR HEART RATES.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This doesn't monitor blood pressure. It only gives you your heart rate.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does not measure blood pressure. I believe the heart rate sensor to be pretty accurate but I'm not sure if it records irregularities or rhythms. I don't think I would recommend relying on it to monitor a known health condition, more as a way to monitor basic heart rate with movement.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The vivosmart HR is not designed to provide blood pressure data. Garmin wearable devices that feature Elevate heart rate technology measure your heart rate at your wrist using a optical heart rate sensor. This sensor samples your heart rate occasionally with LED lights that illuminate through your skin to measure changes in light as a result in blood flow through your vessels and capillaries. The frequency in measurement increases as the device detects increased movement such as going for a walk or run. We would recommend speaking with a physician with any questions regarding a heart condition.
