As long as your phone meets our Bluetooth requirements it should pair. The Garmin Connect app can be installed on an Android or iOS device. NOTE: If the Garmin Connect app is installed on a device that is running an unsupported OS version, this may result in a loss of functionality. If you uninstall the Garmin Connect app while being on an unsupported OS version you may not be able to locate and install it again from your app store. Extremely inaccurate heart bpm readings. Readings varied by over 25 bpm discrepancy when compared to professional accurate equipment! This also leads to very inaccurate calorie calculation. Also, on all these watches the screen would freeze for over 24 hours. Most unprofessional and inefficient customer support offered by Garmin. I've spent over 8 hours on chat with ten different agents, on different days; all of them treated me as one would treat a mentally challenged person, none acknowledged the vívoactive 4 issue. To top it all, they've all tried to switch the blame on me. It seems that their training consists on convincing the customer that he/she is an idiot incapable of using a simple device.
