QuestionI am sorry to report my GE Spacemaker JEM21001 needs to be replaced after 38 of faithful service. Is this model the best replacement? My microwave is installed in a cabinet. I know I have to buy the mounting kit. Thank you in advance for your response.

QuestionMy old GE Spacemaker II Microwave mounted under my cabinet has finally bit the dust (after 30 years!!). I want to replace it with the JEM30725SHSS microwave. I have the old undercabinet mounting hardware kit (Model 4-A019), can I use it for the new one?

QuestionHello, I'm trying to replace a 2008 GE PEM31SM1SS. Dimensions are: 23.5 wide, 11 high, 12" deep. This was a standard "interior designer" model, and I had a built in cabinet slot made to fit it. It had full size power!!! New one is too big. Help?

The biggest difference is the ability of the JEM3072SHSS to add an accessory, giving it the ability to mount to the bottom of a cabinet. QuestionIs this okay to put in a built-in microwave cabinet 22W x 13H x 20D? I can't find one small enough to put in my island with the necessary clearances on the sides.

- Answer Hi Vicky- Yes, this model will fit. It is 17 1/4" wide x 10 1/8" high x 13" deep. Microwaves need adequate air clearance on each side, the rear and the top to function properly. This allows good circulation for the intake and discharge air vents. We suggest 3" of clearance on both sides and the top and 1" in the rear. Thanks for choosing GE! SUE@GEA
