A:AnswerI am very satisfied with our GE 1.1 cu Microwave...it fits on my 24.25 + 32.25 counter top...it took a few days to figure out the panel...so far pretty nice...
A:AnswerPicked one up last month April 2020 ,
looks nice. What I do is press the 30 sec reheat button 2-4 times = 60 seconds or 2 minutes to warm.
Does Not warm up food very well IMO . Seems slow to do so. Also kinda small iside of cooking area?
The other problem I have is at age 59 I can't see or read the Display area? Needs a Backlight.
I have to actually have On the kitchen lights to read it. Bad design and too much trouble to return and exchange it IMO
$100+ , see if it last and get a new one when needed ,
A:AnswerHi Margaret - GE microwaves are manufactured globally. GE Appliances products are designed by GE Appliances engineers in the United States. Many are manufactured in the U.S. and others are made globally to our specifications. The country of origin is shown on the Model/Serial rating plate as well as the packaging. Manufacturing facilities (plant sites, where appliances are made) can and do change from time to time because GE Appliances continues to seek the most efficient manufacturing processes available. We make products all over the world for a Global marketplace. Therefore, your best source for manufacturing location is the packaging/product itself. A:AnswerHi Needamicrowave - Yes, use the Pause/Off button when you need to start over when you are setting a button feature, or when you need to clear the display. Thanks for choosing GE! SUE@GEA
A:AnswerAt first glance I thought I had received a turquoise microwave, then realized that it was a protective film that needed to be removed. It was so perfectly applied, it looked like it was the color of the microwave. It took me a moment to find where to lift the film from because it was on seamlessly.

A:AnswerHi KAF- Thanks for choosing GE! We are sorry to hear this, as it is not what we would expect to occur so soon. The bulb is not consumer replaceable. You may want to check with BestBuy or call GE Appliances at 800-GE-CARES (800 432-2737). Have the model number and serial number available. We apologize for any inconvenience. Keep in touch! SUEatGEA
A:AnswerDon't see why not... You need some room around the cabinet for ventilation, but as long as there is a couple of inches on each side, should be OK..
A:AnswerHi Lucas- This is Sue at GE Appliances. Thanks for your consideration! The power cord is approximately 39". Also, the power cord on countertop models is on the top right side of the case in the rear, behind the control panel. We hope this is helpful. Thanks for checking with us!
A:AnswerWhat is your cabinet depth? The depth of your cabinet is an important detail. This unit is 15.625" deep and needs an additional 1" clearance in the rear. GE also recommends placing the unit 3" back
