A:AnswerHello - Thanks for reaching out! This microwave is manufactured globally. We don't have the country of origin for this product as a whole as it is produced globally, but it will be shown on the individual model rating plate and on the packaging. Thanks again. -Mikayla@GEA
A:AnswerThe height including the feet is more than 12" -- I bought one and it was too tall for my 12" space. It was closer to 12 3/8" including the feet. Now I have to return it -- quite the hassle. Not sure if it was the manufacturer or Best Buy that got the height wrong in the description, but they need to fix it.
A:AnswerHi there - Great question! The cardboard (mica) covers the waveguide system that feeds microwave energy into the cavity and should not be removed. The microwave should not be used for any function if this cardboard cover is not in place. If removed, it would require service to replace. Thanks for asking! -Mikayla
A:AnswerHi Karen, I am happy to help. You can choose the number of minutes and seconds you want your unit to cook by pressing the "time cook" pad. I hope this helps. Thank you for checking with us. Lisa from GE Appliances.
A:AnswerNo, there is a film and a standard grid, but all microwaves need them. The light should be easy to replace, I plan on finding a high power LED replacement for mine. Just like I have done on all of my cars.
A:AnswerSorry, don't know, but the staff at Best Buy is very professional and patient and they were a good source for my questions. They can probably answer on-line also if you can't get there.
