No, this countertop model is not fingerprint resistant. Keep in mind that the only stainless steel is about a 2" band around the front.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The majority of the surface you touch is black and of course leaves no finger prints. In my daily use several times a day I can see a slight print on the open door switch. It comes right off with a towel. I have found no other issues with it.

Cooking an egg buttering some toast and touching the microwave does not pick up the finger print yet putting some old fashion FRIED CHICKEN to being tasted and then touching the microwave will show the fingerprint slightly. But yes the microwave is finger print resistant at the best that is.
