Yep it does have the express buttons. I'm really happy with our purchase of this microwave.

Express Cook offers a quick "shortcut" for starting the microwave. Simply touch a number pad from 1 to 5 and the microwave will start instantly (models made before 1994 require that you press Start). ~ Example: To cook for 2 minutes, press 2 and the microwaves will start immediately and cook for 2 minutes on power level 10 for two minutes. The power level can be changed once the microwave starts by pressing Power and the power level (3=30% , 5=50%, etc.) before touching the start pad. If there is a concern about the microwave automatically coming on when cleaning the control panel, unplug the microwave or just open the microwave door before wiping off the control panel.
