- Answer Hello, Thank you so much for your interest in a new over-the-range microwave. This is an excellent model! All our over-the-range microwaves are designed to fit into a 30" cabinet opening. This makes choosing a replacement a breeze. Please note however, that you will need to use the mounting kit that comes with the model. This is because the kit is made specifically for that model. Your desired model is 1.6 Cu. Ft. with dimensions of 16 7/16 H x 29 7/8 W x 15 7/8 D. Additionally, your current turntable is an inch larger than your desired model, for interior reference. - Answer Hi NewburyOh - The cooktop light is located near the front and center. It is equipped with a 130 volt, 50 watt (max.) halogen bulb. It also has Mute feature. Press and hold “0” for 3 seconds to switch the sound on or off. - Answer Hi Mac - We're happy to help! Recirculating Charcoal Filter JX81C is included. This is only required when the microwave is converted to recirculating (non-vent). The charcoal filter cannot be cleaned. It must be replaced. It is located behind the top grill. If the microwave is properly installed with 12"-13" deep cabinets, the microwave does not need to be uninstalled for replacement of filter. QuestionI ordered this microwave and it came without a charcoal filter. What is the correct re-circulating charcoal filter part number for this microwave? I was told JX81D by GE Customer Service. I ordered this filter and it doesn't even come close to fitting.

- Answer This really isn't a question, but... Shave down a little bit of your cabinets on each side like I did, or reverse the way your door opens. Otherwise choose a different make microwave.
