“Timer Sound, need to be able to hear it Does this product have a volume control (off, low, med, high)? The new microwaves have such a low sound beep, they cannot be heard unless you are standing right in front of the unit. We use the timer regularly and need to hear it when the timer goes off and not watching it, such as sitting at the kitchen table. Thank you.”

Hello Peggy - this is Nancy at GE and I am happy to help you with regard to this wonderful microwave. You will see on the control panel that there is a pad called "Sound". With this button, the beeper sound can be adjusted. Press "Sound". Next, press 0-3 for mute to loud. I hope this information is helpful! Thanks for checking with us!
