Q: QuestionI do not see any dimensions for the device. Is it a standard 30x15 inches? Also, it will be replacing a Frigidaire Gallery Professional Series one from quite a few years ago. Will it fit into the same mounting frame?

If you have questions about the mounting space for this new unit, information about this can be found on page 6 of your Installation Instructions. - When replacing an over-the-range microwave, the mounting bracket included with the new microwave should be used since the mounting bracket is specific to each model. Q: QuestionI need to replace a GE Model PVM2070SM1SS Over the Range Microwave. Can you Please tell me which models would be comparable, in terms of dimensions? Also, will new microwave need some sort of bracket to hold the unit? Is this included?

Therefore, any of our 30" over-the-range models will work as a replacement for an existing 30" over-the-range model. This makes choosing a replacement microwave easy! - NOTE: When replacing an over-the-range microwave, the mounting bracket included with the new microwave should be used since the mounting bracket is specific to each model. The new screws, bolts, and exhaust adapter should also be used. Q: QuestionI am thinking of buying microwave JVM6175DKWW Plus getting your Geek squad to install. I need indoor circulation as I have no outside vent access. Do the installers do that also?

• A:Answer There is an option for venting the microwave inside rather than outside. The person who remodeled my kitchen was able to vent my microwave inside, so I'd think any installer would be able to do the same for you.

Q: QuestionOur GE Spacemaker XL1800 over the range microwave died. I did a quick measurement of the one we have and it roughly measures 16” High x 30” Wide x 15¼” Deep. Want to know what replacement model matches this mounting size to reuse the mounting plate.

• A:Answer Hi Me- The vent fan does not automatically come on every time you operate microwave. All over-the-range microwaves have an automatic fan as a safety feature. This fan automatically turns on if the unit is overheating. This is in addition to the fan switch that manually controls the exhaust fan. The built-in thermostat causes the exhaust fan to turn on automatically if the temperature around the control panel rises to approximately 150 degrees F. This feature helps protect the electronic components and also helps the cooking area get rid of excess heat.
