Hi TravCamper- Thanks for viewing our GE Series Refrigerators! The unit is designed for free-standing installation only. The refrigerator would need to be secured in the travel trailer or RV to prevent damage. Also, secure shelves, bins, etc. Allow the following air clearances when operating: Back 3", Sides 1", Top 4". Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Installed in a motorhome (Diesel Pusher) as replacement to RV refer. Very happy with this model as our refrigerator space is limited because of location in slide out. If we'd had more height available we would have gone with a French Door model, Check with any size as we had to r&r a large window to r&r old and new refer. While traveling we found no real change in temp if we kept door closed for 8 to 9 hours. Still we either run inverter or generator to maintain cool while traveling.
