We do not perform a sound rating for our refrigerator models. While all our appliances are designed with the quietest operation in mind, the added technology and high-efficiency compressor found in newer refrigerators will cause some sound when operating. You can learn more about normal operating sounds that you may hear on page 14 of the Use and Care Manual. We hope that this helps! -Eliza@GEA
