To obtain efficient operation, a freezer should be installed in a dry, well ventilated room where the surrounding external temperatures will not exceed 110 degrees F. or fall below 0 degrees F. It should not be installed in a location exposed to water or direct sunlight.     • Answer this PDF never answered the question. You would think that would be one of the first pieces of info you would get when looking at freezers: the temp range of the freezer. I've looked and looked and still can't find it. And it's not a Best Buy thing; all web sites do not put the temp range of the freezer.

Many are manufactured in the U.S. and others are made globally to our specifications. The country of origin is shown on the Model/Serial rating plate as well as the packaging. Manufacturing facilities (plant sites, where appliances are made) can and do change from time to time because GE Appliances continues to seek the most efficient manufacturing processes available.
