A:AnswerI have to use two hands to open it.But I would much rather have that good tight seal between the door and the inside. Mine moves just a little bit when I get it open with 1 try using two hands...maybe an inch. Like I said, I would rather have that good tight seal and be ok with just moving it back an inch in place. But that's just my preference...I understand if that is not to your liking...just my opinion.

A:AnswerMy doorway was not even 30 inches (maybe 28). The delivery men opened the freezer door and sailed right through the doorway with the freezer. I thought they'd have to remove the door but they did not. They did a wonderful job.

A:AnswerHi MikeE - All of our freezers (excluding international units) function at 115 VAC, 60 Hz and have approximately a 5 amp draw. Freezers typically draw extra current during start up (approx. 2x). The exact amps that an individual freezer draws is on the rating plate and should be used if placing the freezer on a generator or other auxiliary power source. The freezer should always be plugged into its own individual electrical outlet which has a voltage rating that matches the rating plate. A 115 Volt AC, 60 Hz, 15- or 20-amp fused, grounded electrical supply is required. This provides the best performance and also prevents overloading house wiring circuits which could cause a fire hazard from overheated wires. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. Sue
