Q: QuestionLooking to buy one of these but was wondering how many inches up from the floor is the freezer handle.

• A:Answer Hi Burns - Height from floor to top of the freezer handle is approximately 25". The exact height will depend on how unit is leveled. The handle is about 1-1/2"H. Thanks for considering GE! Sue

• A:Answer If you have a dedicated space for the fridge, it is best to locate your outlet 4' up from the floor level and in the center of the fridge space. that should work for this fridge and others in the future.

Q: QuestionWhat is the temp of the water being dispensed? How much cold water is kept cold?

• A:Answer Hi Crykey - Bottom freezer and french door refrigerators have a water reservoir coil in the fresh food section that holds 12 - 24 oz. of water. The water is chilled and stored until it is needed. Since the reservoir is in the fresh food section, the water will not be ice-cold. The first time the dispenser is used, the chilled water lever may need to be pressed for two to three minutes to fill the reservoir for the first time. It takes approximately seven seconds to fill an eight ounce glass with water. After the 12 - 24 oz. of cold water is dispensed, any additional water dispensed will not be chilled until the water in the coil tubing has had time to chill again. Therefore, the temperature will vary. Keep in touch! -Emelea

Q: QuestionI see this fridge has a readout for the settings of the fridge and freezer. The readout shows you what they are set to. Is there a way to see what the actual temperature is in the fridge or freezer in case it is not the same as it is set to?
