Hello kathy - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and I am happy to help you. This is a very nice refrigerator. Yes, it does offer the convenience of the snack pan. We apologize for any confusion in this regard. This refrigerator also has an automatic moisture control feature to help prevent moisture from forming on your cabinet exterior during excessively humid periods. I hope this helps! Above those I have one drawer that could be considered a snack drawer. Then the butter compartment in the door. This does not come with an ice bucket or egg tray. I went into Best Buys to look at it. Seeing it at best buys sold me on it.

Please try again later.There is a compartment on the door, which I use for butter, a compartment under middle self that I use for cheese and lunchmeats ( the one I think you are referring to) and two adjustable fruit/vegetable drawers next to each other under bottom shelf. I have only owned this product for ~2 months but it has ran great so far.
