“Will a 32 3/4 wide space between wall and counter allow the door to open toward wall 90 degrees or enough to open drawers?”

Hi gecat- Yes, width with door open 90˚ including door handle is 30-5/8". This will allow you to access drawers. The door must be fully opened to remove drawers.
