Hi - Thank you for reaching out to us and for your interest in a new GE Appliances refrigerator. If the refrigerators are going to be installed in such a way that the doors swing away from each other, the only clearances needed is the normal recommended air clearance on the sides of 2". If either refrigerator is installed so the hinged side of the door is against a wall, you will need 14 3/4" for the door to swing open far enough to be able to remove the bins for cleaning.
