“I need for the door hinges to be on the right so the door opens from left to right. Can the door be in this configuration before installation?”

• The washer hinges left and the dryer hinges right. You need to ask GE if that can be changed.

• Hi - This is Lisa from GE Appliances. I am happy to help. Front-load washers have the hinge on the left side of the door and open to the left only. They do not have reversible doors because of the electronics involved with the door lock mechanism. Thank you for checking with us.
