Hello - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and I am happy to help you. This refrigerator has stainless steel doors and the sides are dark gray. It does not have a black trim around it. That may be a shadow in the photo. We're glad you asked! Thanks for your interest!

Only the doors are stainless and all exposed door areas are stainless. The other non-door sides are a dark charcoal.
