• Hi zerk - Your refrigerator will come with the recommended factory setting in the mid position. For colder temperature, turn the knob clockwise toward "Coldest". For warmer temperature, turn the dial counter-clockwise toward "Cold". • I believe if you turn the it counterclockwise that is colder.
