• The shelf directly on top won’t hurt the fridge. It’s what you decide to put on the shelf. I wouldn’t have a combined weight heavier than 25-30lbs+ on the shelf. Although it’s insulated sheet metal, you potentially could cause an issue with too much weight. But I wouldn’t worry too much, as I have a garage fridge that I stack plenty of items on.
