“Is the hinge on this refrigerator zero clearance? or does it swing outward and if so how many inches?”

Not zero clearance. You need good solid 5/8” for hinge swing on side.

Hi - The refrigerator does not have zero clearance hinges (Width with door open 90˚ including door handle= 33 7/8").
