QuestionI just got this refrigerator, so far so good. Question I have is, I don't use ice in the winter and on my old fridge, I turned off the ice maker, emptied the bin. Then in summer I turned it back on. Is that still good practice with this fridge?

THERE IS A REPLACEMENT INDICATOR LIGHT FOR THE WATER FILTER CARTRIDGEON THE DISPENSER, A RED LIGHT WILL START BLINKING TO TELL YOU THAT YOU NEED TO REPLACE THE FILTER SOON. FOR MODELS THAT DON'T HAVE THE INDICATOR LIGHT THE FILTER CARTRIDGE SHOULD BE REPLACED EVERY SIX MONTHS, OR EARLIER IF THEVFLOW OF WATER TO THE DISPENSER OR ICEMAKER DECREASES.

QuestionI am concerned about the reviews concerning ice and water issues in the GZS22IYNFS. Since we never use ice or water, should we just not hook up a new fridge to the water line? Could it be hooked up, but turned off in some way?

The rollers adjust so the refrigerator is firmly positioned on the floor and does not wobble. Rollers allow you to move the refrigerator away from the wall for cleaning.
