  • QuestionDoes this refrigerator have a fun the runs 24 hours like the Samsung and LG refrigerators? These two brands makes a vibrating sounds like an engine running. Does this refrigerator do that?

This refrigerator has the normal operating intermittent sounds of: humming or whooshing from the high efficiency compressor which may run faster and longer than your old refrigerator. You may also hear the whir sound from the fans spinning which occurs when it is first plugged in, when the doors are opened frequently or when the refrigerator is empty, or when a large amount of food is added to the refrigerator or freezer compartments. The fans are helping to maintain the correct temperatures. Other intermittent sounds you may hear include clicks, pops, cracks, chirps and water sounds. We hope this helps! Another difference between these two units is that model number GZS22IYNFS is fingerprint resistant while the other is not.
