Mine seems quiet. I just recieved it and set it up on 6/8/19. Even when the fridge was initially cooling, it was pretty quiet. Runs quiet even on the Turbo Cool modes, where the compressor and fans are running at full power. I'm definitely very happy with the fridge and would recommend it to others.

When the surrounding noise level is low, you may hear a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound while it is operating. Newer refrigerators sound different from older refrigerators. Modern refrigerators have more features and use newer energy efficient technology. The type of installation (between cabinets or freestanding), floor type (wood, tile) and room acoustics can all affect the normal operating sounds that you may hear.
