  • QuestionDoes this model heat the water?

    Asked by Gokistler.

    • Answer Hello there - this is a wonderful question. This dishwasher offers some great features that helps heat the water, such as Wash TempBoost. Specifically, that feature increases the temperature to help clean heavily soiled dishes and will increase the cycle time by 20 to 50 minutes. More information on that option and more can be found on page 6 of the owner's manual: https://files.bbystatic.com/TTBtb8ruuyksmjQF09OcYA%3D%3D/User%2BGuide. It is important to note that the inlet water still needs to be at least 120 degrees Fahrenheit for proper wash performance. This can be achieved by running hot water through the faucet nearest the washer for about a minute before starting the wash. We hope this is insightful! Please let us know if you have any further questions - we're more than happy to help out. Be well, Kelsey@GEA

  • QuestionHi can this model be a good replacement for GE Model GSD3360D35SS which is now discontinued?

    Asked by Len.

    • Answer Hello, and thanks for your interest in this built-in dishwasher! Regarding sizing, the dimensions of this model are 33 3/8 H x 23 3/4 W x 24 D. The cabinet opening for this model must be at least 24” deep, 24” wide and approximately 34 ½” high from the floor to the underside of the countertop. The dishwasher needs to be installed so that the drain hose is no more than 16’ in length, in order to ensure proper drainage. When the dishwasher is installed in a corner, 2” of minimum clearance should be between the unit and any adjacent cabinet, wall or other appliance. 25 ½” is the minimum clearance for the front of the dishwasher to be opened fully. The GDF535PSRSS model features a great wash performance, multiple cycle options, large capacity and a quiet performance at only 55 dBA. If the size is right according to the above information, we are confident this model would be a great replacement dishwasher for you! We hope this information is helpful, and are happy to assist if you have any other questions or concerns. All the best! -Sarah@GEA
