Q: QuestionHi, I just have the machine installed couple days. And it stops working just once of usage. It does not drain the water out. I suspect the installation error, or the machine error. Please have someone checking. Thank you!

• A:Answer If water won’t pump out of the tub, the drain may be clogged and you should try the following troubleshooting tips. If you have an air gap, clean it. See instructions on page 18 of the Owner’s Manual, which can be viewed at the bottom of the Features tab on the product page of the Best Buy website. If the dishwasher drains into a disposer, run the disposer clear. Lastly, check to see if your kitchen sink is draining well. If not, you may need a plumber. -- If those tips don’t help, we recommend scheduling service online by visiting the GE Appliances website or by calling 833-4BODEWELL (833-426-3393) M-F 8AM-8PM ET, Sat-Sun: Closed. Q: Questionafter a wash/dry cycle is complete, why is there so much water left in the bottom drain?! seems like more than 2 cups!

• A:Answer No, this model does not have the Stem Safe shelf. The GDT550PGRBB model in our current line up is one of the model we offer in black that offers the "stem safe shelf". Which, to clarify is different from the bottle washer clips.
