- Answer Hi donh- On models with hidden top controls, the cycle may be selected with the door in the open position. The cycle will not start until the Start pad is pushed and the door is closed. QuestionHelp! Our dishwasher is only 2 years old and the sounds/chimes have completely stopped working and I don’t know why. I’ve already went to our power box and reset the power to dishwasher and the chimes are still not working. Any advice on how to fix this?
