• It looks like a brushed stainless but I understand it is painted. We love it - no fingerprints on any of our new appliances and easy to keep clean!

• It's a flat gray color, definitely NOT stainless steel. The photo is completely misleading.

• Thought the slate woukd be too dark. Not stainless but smudge proof and ALMOST looks like stainless. LOVE my choices! Picture looks dark but really is not!
