Q: Does this dishwasher have a self-cleaning filter?

Q: I need a height of just under 33.5 is the height adjustable to fit a space approx of 33.375

Q: Mounting under granite countertop
A: Hello Patrick, This is Joyce from GE Appliances. If the countertop is granite or a similar material that will not accept wood screws. You will want to use the side mounting brackets. Break off the front portion of the tab with pliers at the location shown, prior to attaching to the dishwasher. Refer to the installation instructions for complete instructions. Q: it says front is slate. is it stainless steel?
A: I believe that the front door is stainless steel.
Q: does it have very strong smell when new and for how long?
A: Yes, the dishwasher has a very strong chemical odor. The odor was even on our dishes. We had to rewash our dishes in extremely hot water to remove the smell. We have run our dishwasher multiple times and it has not gotten any better. Avoid GE products!
