Me too. Mine got caught on something inside and tore up. I now need to order a new one so I can tear it up. I have limited space to remove the filter, and it's a pain. Now I have to try to figure out if the model has a Q1, Q2, Q3, or W1 at the end of it, so I can get the right replacement filter. SIGH
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm having a hard time getting the filter out too. I'm afraid if I pull too hard it will break. Really frustrating now that the weather is changing.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you for connecting with us! To remove the air filter, slide the filter from the left side of the unit. You can clean the filter with warm soapy water. Rinse and let the filter dry before replacing it. If you continue to experience issues, you can call 1-800-GECares (1-800-432-2737) for further information. We hope this helps; all the best – Matthew@GEA.
