“Is the fan supposed to continually run? Mine did for the first night, now it acts like it'll randomly lose power (it doesn't all lights are still on and but nothing works) if I shut it off and turn it back on, it runs fine. Till it "loses power" again.”

Hello, thank you for your question. We're sorry to hear that your air conditioner's controls are not allowing it to run properly. When the compressor cycles off, the fan that circulates the air in the room will continue to run for up to 3 minutes. The fan will also come on 3 minutes before the compressor cycles on. Regarding your unit's controls not operating properly, we are seeing that this air conditioner is a "Return to Vendor" model as parts for it are extremely limited. In this case, we recommend you reach out to Best Buy to evaluate what your options for repair or replacement are.
